 1 Land's End To Bodmin 58.7 1475 5.30am start to beat the traffic on the A30...hilly all the way
2 Bodmin to Exeter 61.9 1625 Another 5.30 start. Over Bodmin Moor and then over the top of Dartmoor...more big hills.
 3 Exeter to Bristol Airport 64.5 881 A gentler day, but just climbing into the Mendip Hills at the end.
4 Bristol Airport to Worcester 66.5 507 Down to Bristol then nice and level through the Severn Valley
5 Worcester to Whitchurch 66.9 940 The Severn Valley's getting a little hillier now.
6 Whitchurch to Wigan 56.4 639 Fairly level down to the Mersey and beyond.
7 Wigan to Kendal 56.3 640 Nice easy day...see the sea again at Morecambe Bay.
8 Kendal to Gretna 55.4 1065 The Big Climb up to Shap, then coast down to Penrith. End the day in Scotland!
 9 Gretna to Abington 49 773 Gentle climb on quiet road.
